Lynda and Fourth Coates: Lynda is in excruciating pain. She is scheduled for surgery (6-7 hour surgery!) on Tuesday in Houston for the final surgery to reconstruct her scalp. Fourth is also experiencing back pain. They are planning on leaving for Houston tomorrow (Monday). Pray for a safe trip. There will be a Prayer Vigil in the Sanctuary all day at Medina UMC on Tuesday.

From Fourth: Lynda just went down to surgery with the same nurse as last time who goes to Osteen’s church in Lakewood. We had prayer and she is in good spirits. God is good! Thank you for the prayers. I’ll keep you updated.

From Fourth: Lynda’s surgery is over, she is doing well but having pain. So they are giving her meds. We can see her in an hour. Surgery went well. Please spread the word… our phones don’t work too well here. And that you for the prayers and keep them up!

From Fourth: Lynda was just moved from recovery to N.I.C.U. She will probably be ther 24 hours which is the norm. She looks great! I kidded her and told her Dr. Harper did a face lift on her too. They will get her situated and Suz and Cinco can go see her. Thanks prayer warriors!

From Fourth: Just checked on Lynda in ICU. Still doing good, having some pain but not intolerable. She has eaten and is alert and has been stinessing to her nurse, she never stops! She ordered me to go get some sleep and Suz and Cinco are with her now. Night, Night… pray for an easy night for her. Adios!

From Fourth: Lynda had a good night in the NIC. She had a real sweet nurse who took excellent care of her. I just got kicked out and will go back at 8. Her left side is improving, foot is moving better and arm and hand seem to be doing better. Her neurologist said that may happened after the repair to her skull and it looks like it is! Thank the Lord!

From Fourth: Were leaving Methodist Hospital on our way to Lynda’s Mom’s at Thrall.

From Fourth: Lynda had a postop appointment with her surgeon Dr. Harper. He said her incision looked excellent after he “riipped” off her bandage. He then removed all of the stitches and not just some of them as he had said after surger. The shape of her head looks great, except for the incision it looks like it did before he removed the bone flap in January. Thanks for the prayers everyone!

I’m back at work and Lynda is staying at her Mom’s in Thrall. Something about home cooking and her Mom’s and her Aunt Sister’s pampering was the reason she gave me. She was still feeling well when I talked to her last night. Cinco will go to Thrall this weekend so she will enjoy that. Again, thanks for all the prayers and concerns.
